As we enter our next phase of development, Praxis is adding a new form of membership: Praxis Nomads. This initiative extends the opportunity to join Praxis to all who support our vision.

We have received tens of thousands of applications for Citizenship from exceptional individuals worldwide. Due to the volume, we’ve had to waitlist many passionate people whose enthusiasm and support for Praxis were palpable. We wanted to find a way to bring these people into the community to allow them to support our vision. Praxis Nomads now offers a role for these individuals, creating a broader tier of membership within our network state.

Praxis is more than a community; it is a movement aimed at building the world's first Network State—an on-chain society united by a shared consciousness and a common purpose. We are developing a new way of life and crowdfunding projects that bring our vision to reality, starting with the creation of a new city. In a world where traditional nation-states are evolving, the concept of the Network State represents the next paradigm shift. Praxis stands at the forefront of this transformation, supported by a global community of over 13,000 Praxians in more than 80 countries, and backed by leading visionaries and investors.

The Distinction of Citizenship

Praxis Nomads will now be the entry role for all Praxians. While Steel Visa Citizenship remains reserved for those who have demonstrated alignment with our values and are committed to residing in our upcoming city (see the Praxis Citizen Pledge here), the Nomad membership will play a crucial role. These pioneers will expand our network and propel us toward our shared goal.

Onboarding and Benefits for Nomads

Becoming a Nomad is straightforward. With just your basic information—name, email, and a few quick details, you will immediately gain access to the Praxis Discord, where our discussions and collaborations unfold. Soon, you will also have access to the Praxis Portal, our digital infrastructure that facilitates coordination, community-building, and the Nation’s on-chain economy. Onboarding is light to encourage swift engagement, allowing you to participate from the moment you join.

As a Nomad, you'll have access to key areas within our digital platforms, connecting you with like-minded individuals and enabling you to participate in community initiatives. Steel Visa Citizens, having made a deeper commitment, will have additional privileges, including access to exclusive sections of our platforms and the right to permanent residence in the physical city we are developing.

• Creating cultural works – From images and memes to original art, Praxians have already made a mark by producing creative content that embodies our ethos.
• Bold symbolic actions – Some of our most inspiring moments come from Praxians engaging in acts of heroism that reflect Praxis’s values—such as the planting of the Praxis flag atop Mount Kilimanjaro by a fellow citizen.
• Building connections and collaborating – Many Nomads connect with other Praxians, forming relationships that lead to collaborative projects and initiatives that bring our mission to life.

Pathway to Steel Visa Citizenship

We recognize that many Nomads aspire to become Citizens. Every Nomad is automatically considered for Steel Visa Citizenship following their initial submission. Those not accepted at that time will have future opportunities to be considered, as we plan to periodically review active Nomads interested in Steel Visa Citizenship. We evaluate potential Citizens based on:

• Alignment of values – Demonstrated through your actions, writings, or online presence that reflect Praxis’s ethos.
• Unique contributions – Praxis values individuals with unusual talents or abilities who can actively contribute to the building of Praxis.
• Demonstrated support – Investing time and energy in supporting Praxis through participation in community events, initiatives, and other activities that showcase your commitment.

There are no limits on the number of Nomads. We believe that anyone who shares our vision and supports our mission should have the opportunity to be part of Praxis.
